Indeed, in its purest form, viscose is very prone to creasing-now not exactly the most practical feature for a viscose rug. To still enjoy a viscose rug, other fabrics such as cotton and polyester are added to viscose rugs to make them slightly stiffer, firmer and less prone to creasing.

To keep the viscose rug looking nice for as long as possible, make sure that if it accidentally gets wet, you get a hairdryer going as soon as possible to get things dry again. Viscose absorbs moisture like crazy, which doesn't do the rug any favours.
