Wool rug - Isara Border Olive Green instantly brings more calm to your seating area and adds depth to light furniture and natural materials. The olive green colour looks warm and earthy, while the subtle border detail clearly frames the rug and gives the arrangement more structure.

This wool rug is made of 100% wool and feels full, resilient, and comfortable. In the living room, you'll notice it every day: wool feels pleasant underfoot, dampens sound, and makes the space quieter and more comfortable. The cotton backing supports the rug and helps it lie stable, so the surface stays taut and the border detail remains beautifully visible.

Thanks to the soft olive green tone and the clear shape, this solid-colour rug fits well in a modern or Japandi interior. Place it under the sofa and coffee table to bring separate pieces of furniture together, or partly under the dining table for a clear, calm base.

Cleaning methods

Vacuum cleaner

You can vacuum the rug with the bristles tucked in. To protect the delicate fibers, we advise against using vacuum cleaners (stick vacuums/robot vacuums), and for flat-woven rugs, to vacuum in the direction of the weave.

Wool

Sheep's wool is the basis of this rug, and owes its dirt and moisture repellent properties to lanolin, the wool's own natural grease, which also insulates against the cold and muffles sound better than a hard floor. In the first few weeks the fibre may shed slightly, a normal trait that settles down with regular vacuuming. Because wool rugs are often hand knotted or hand woven, small irregularities and slight size variations are normal.

Care

Vacuum twice a week with the brush retracted, this also reduces shedding on a new wool rug. Blot a spill immediately with a clean, slightly damp cloth without rubbing, so dirt does not work further into the fibre. Wool dries more slowly than other materials, so avoid getting it too wet. Shake the rug out outside occasionally for a deeper clean between vacuuming.
