Flatweave

Flat, sturdy and made for everyday life

The Abstract Rug – Candice Taupe brings the raw elegance of industrial design straight into your interior. Its jacquard-woven pattern evokes weathered walls and lived-in surfaces, as if the texture of concrete or stone has been translated into a soft textile. The calm taupe tones give the rug a neutral yet powerful foundation that instantly adds warmth and depth to any space. This abstract rug is a stylish design accent that introduces structure and character to modern, industrial, or maximalist interiors.

This cotton rug is jacquard-woven, a technique that creates refined details and subtle relief in the pattern. Thanks to this weaving method, the abstract design truly stands out, while the rug feels sturdy yet pleasantly soft. Cotton is known for being lint-free, dimensionally stable, and breathable, offering comfort in every season. It also retains color exceptionally well, ensuring the taupe shades and nuances in this abstract rug remain vivid and bright over time. Candice Taupe combines the look of an artistic design piece with the durability of a reliable material.

Cleaning methods

Vacuum cleaner

You can vacuum the rug with the bristles tucked in. To protect the delicate fibers, we advise against using vacuum cleaners (stick vacuums/robot vacuums), and for flat-woven rugs, to vacuum in the direction of the weave.

Cotton

Cotton is a natural plant fibre with a matte, understated look that may shed slightly in the first few weeks; this is normal and settles down with regular vacuuming. Cotton naturally absorbs a little more dirt and moisture than a synthetic rug, part of its natural character, which is also why the strong fibre is often used as a backing on other rugs.

Care

Regular vacuuming reduces shedding on a new cotton rug. Blot a spill immediately with a damp cloth: cotton absorbs moisture quickly, so a spill would otherwise work further in. Keep the rug out of direct sunlight to slow down fading. A nonslip rug underlay keeps the rug in place and extends its lifespan.
